Mrs. Jehan Mohammed-Ali

Mrs. Jehan A. Mohammed-Ali is an Attorney at Law who specializes in the fields of Criminal Law, Family Law, Immigration Law, Employment & Labour Law, Constitutional Law, Defamation, Personal Injury Law, Medical Negligence and specific aspects of Civil Practice.

Mrs. Mohammed-Ali is a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton, where she obtained her Legal Practice Certificate in 2012. She read for her Bachelor of Laws from the University of London and graduated with honours in 2010.

She was first an intern shadowing the late Mr. Theodore Guerra S.C. and the last junior he petitioned for to be called to the bar of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in 2012, before his passing. Mrs. Mohammed-Ali has appeared as Advocate Attorney in several trials and has also appeared in numerous matters in which Mrs. Elder S.C. was lead counsel both at the Magistrates’ Court and High Court.

Mrs. Mohammed-Ali and Mrs. Elder S.C. were instrumental in the preparation of a Policy to Reform the Criminal Procedure (Plea Discussion and Plea Agreement) Act, Chapter 13:07 which was deficient and under-utilised.
