Mr. Russell O. Warner

Mr. Russell O. Warner is an Attorney at Law who appears both as Instructing and Advocate Attorney in Criminal Law and Civil Law matters.

He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of London in 2010 and in 2012 he was awarded a Legal Education Certificate of Merit by the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School. He was called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in 2012.

While at the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School, Mr. Warner acquired his passion for advocacy, having represented the Law School at the 2012 International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition at The Hague, Netherlands. He was awarded the Judges’ prize for best Defence Counsel.

Since being admitted to the Bar he has represented clients, both privately and legally aided, in a wide range of criminal law matters involving offences such as, murder, man-slaughter, fraud, money laundering, drug possession, drug trafficking and firearm possession. In the Civil jurisdiction, Mr. Warner has represented clients in an array of matters including malicious prosecution, false imprisonment, misfeasance in public office, malicious procurement of an arrest warrant, adverse possession, land disputes, immigration law and breach of contract claims.
