Mrs. Renuka Sagramsingh-Sooklal

Mrs. Renuka Sagramsingh-Sooklal joined Chambers in 2012 and practices primarily Family Law and Land Law. She acts as Advocate and Instructing Attorney in matters ranging from commercial debt collection and mortgagee actions to medical negligence and property matters. She manages a burgeoning Immigration portfolio, which involves advising on and processing work permit applications and related issues for expatriate employees of local and foreign companies, as well as Residency Applications for foreigners.

In the year 2003 she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts by the University of the West Indies. In 2006 she was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) by the University of London and in the year 2012, she was awarded a Legal Education Certificate by the Sir Hugh Wooding Law School.

Mrs. Sagramsingh-Sooklal was called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago on 2nd November, 2012 and since that time she has represented clients in a wide range of matters, which include, Land, Possession, Breach of Contract , Divorce, Custody, Maintenance, Immigration, Conveyancing and Land Development.

She is presently a serving member of two state boards.
